Hello Chairs,

Mark your calendars....On Friday, June 22, 2012, the Substance Abuse Committee and the Executve Board will host the first annual committee meeting day/appreciation cook out at Starved Rock State Park in Utica, IL.  We meet in the lower level of the park near the boat docks. The Substance Abuse Committee will have a speaker join us at 10:00 a.m. for a 30 minute presentation for which you should be able to claim 1/2 hour training credit with AOIC.  We are in the final stages of confirming the topic and the presenter, so details will follow once available.  Then at 10:30 we will break out into our various committees for meetings.  At approximately 12:00 the SAC will start grilling burgers and brats provided by the Eboard.  Everyone is asked to bring a dish to pass, a chair, sunscreen, etc.  That afternoon, for those of you who wish to use a little comp time or vacation time and stick around, I'm told my co-chair Andy will be bringing his boat.  Please share this with your committee members.  Andy will be sending out sign up sheets, a map, and futher details in a few weeks.  I will need an approximate head count a few days before so I can order the meat.  Please contact me with any questions or concerns.  Hope to see you all there.
