IPCSA - Who Are We?

Founded in 1969, the Illinois Probation and Court Services Association was organized to serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas and strategies regarding probation and court services for both juvenile and adult offenders.

Boasting 31 charter members in 1969, the Association has grown to over 1,000 members, including probation officers, detention officers, judges, and related professionals.

Two training conferences are held each year, providing our members with current and relevant information concerning the latest technologies, new and pending legislation, and the changes surrounding their profession.  Attendance at these conferences ranges from 350 to 500 IPCSA members.

An awards ceremony is held during the Fall Conference in October to allow our outstanding association members to be recognized for excellence in their fields.

IPCSA also offers to its members the opportunity to serve on specialized committees, which develop proposals relating to operational guidelines in their respective areas.

IPCSA has grown considerably in 30 years.  It is, and always will be, an association dedicated to its membership and the people of the State of Illinois.
