Summary of prior committee objectives & new objectives: 

Objectives for 2006 year included:

1)       Continue implementation of the late registration fee schedule of $300 for early registration, $350 for regular registration, and $400 for late registration.

Progress on objective:  The tiered registration fee structure has been in place since the fall conference in Decatur in 2005.  Vendors appear to be receptive and understand if they wait until the last minute to register the late fee will be imposed.  

2)       Continue to add e-mail addresses to the master vendor list for future development of an e-mail contact list to assist in sending correspondence electronically.

Progress on objective:  This is a tedious project due to the fact that the e-mail addresses listed on the vendor registration sheet are often for those who are exhibiting and not necessarily for the company or agency.  The e-mail addresses change frequently and it’s time consuming to keep the list accurate and up to date.  We continue to request the information on the registration forms to be included on the master list. 

3)       Recruit new Resource Committee members. 

Progress on objective:  No new committee members have been recruited.  This remains an on-going project. 

Objectives for 2007 include:

1)       Explore with the Executive Committee the feasibility of establishing vendor membership categories.

2)       Continue the implementation of the tiered registration fee and document additional revenue received at the spring and fall conferences.

3)       Actively begin recruiting new members to participate on the Resource Committee.

Projected Budget:  $200 (no change from last year’s amount).
